How to Relieve Shoulder Pain | Reflexology

The moment some of these reflexes are addressed and manipulated, then stress is removed and in the process the parasympathetic response in the person's body is activated that in turn releases in the imbalances in the person's body. And the moment the stress is removed and that the circulation of the energy has been restored to its normal level, then the person who is subjected to reflexology returns to that stage called homeostasis. The pressure points for the testicle and ovary are found on the hands only. Within the pressure point of the fallopian tube, groin and iliac lymph nodes, directly above the wrist bone is the area for the testicle and ovary. It is just a small area which would probably feel like the tip of one's tiny finger. Ayurveda also encourages the use of herbal medicines as a result of our harmonious coexistence with nature. It focuses on the prevention of illnesses rather than cure. Daily massage is an inherent part of the Ayurvedic healing. A full body and hand massage is recommended each day before breakfast. If a full body massage can be undertaken, then vital energy parts can be massaged such as the head, temples, face and ears to maintain good health. But the same pressure point principle is observed in the entire reflexology community. They all follow a certain scaled down body map on the base of the foot. The toes represent the head from the neck upwards. The heart and the chest area are represented by the ball of the foot. The internal organs are represented by the arch of the foot and the sole represents the lower back or spine and the intestines. But as far back as the 1913, this form of therapy was already discovered but in a different name. This was first known as the 'Zone Therapy' and it was the American surgeon named William Fitzgerald who first studied these. In the studies that was conducted by Dr. Fitzgerald, he noted that there are zones that can be found on the hands, the feet and the tongue of the person and that all these zones are linked or connected to the many parts of the body. Also, it makes the familiarization of pressure points very easy because you already know the pattern of the reflexology chart. The shoulder tops, chest, lungs, heart and upper back are all represented on the area just below the knuckles of the hands and on the midfoot. This area should remind us of the upper torso of the human body.
