WATCH: Futzuki Reflexology Mat put to the test -- can it fix your achy feet?

When you are looking for a therapist that can address your needs, bear in mind that you are looking for the person with the right amount of training and the right amount of experience and exposure to the therapy. This is critical because there are a number of pseudo-therapists out there that says they are competent, but if you check their credentials then you will learn that they only attended a crash course in reflexology. And you get stress as well as you go home from your office- from the noises emitted by vehicles to the noisy conversations between the bystanders on the streets. Though it's always there, let it be known that you have the ability to counter and stop and manage the stress. And one way to make that happen is to rely on the relaxation response. This is the reason why at the start of the session, the reflexology therapist will first assess the condition of the feet of the person. If the person really wants to undergo reflexology, then the treatment can still push through provided that the focus is not on the feet. The reflexology practitioner may focus on the ears of the person. And if the person feels pain, then these pressure points will suggest that the energy flow has been blocked. Or perhaps a disease is present or pending. So when the pressure points on the feet are massaged, then this means that the energy flow can be cleared thus healing that part of the body. From the perspective of reflexology, this is how it all works. Even though the willingness and the motivation are there but you are not backed with the right knowledge, skills and trainings then for sure you will not prosper in this kind of industry. So strongly consider getting the right set of skills and consider getting certified so that you can practice reflexology and do your part in helping people dismiss the aches and the pains and say hello to relaxation. A reflexology session is more like a massage session- the difference is that the target of the therapist is primarily the feet and the hands. And the main intent for every session is to relax the person, and at the same time re-establish the normal flow of the energy and the balance within the person.
