One exception though is that to remember always that the whole point of Feng shui is the comfort and well being of people as they live in harmony with their surroundings. It would then only be practical not to adopt a color that one is not comfortable with. This is more so if the color serves to aggravate the people to whom these zones are intentioned. Use instead materials that symbolize flow. Better yet place objects that represent water. To the northeast will be objects that symbolize spirituality. Libraries are also best suited for this spot as well as stacks of books and objects that represent wisdom and knowledge. You can place objects here that are earth based. The bright hall effect means that the house has a wide and open area fronting it or a frontage where there is a space of land before the house. A house that has this feature in its property is considered a very auspicious Feng shui house. Sometimes, this feature alone could already bring the luck that the occupants will want to enjoy. But because there are no fixed positions in the Feng shui, the corner where the wealth zone is most favorable depends on the kua number of a person and sometimes the period or timing by which the reading is determined. So before assigning the wealth zone (also known as the Sheng chi) in your home according to Feng shui's general principles, know first what is your kua number. If that energy that gets into the house is not clean, that will again pose a danger to its occupants. The chi rests in water. It is then good advise to have an open fixture in the house that holds it like fish tanks and water fountains. If the chi that gets into the house do not find water from which it could stay, it will only continue riding and be dispersed by the wind. It could also endanger harmony and interrelationships of the objects and the symbol it represents. It is also for this reason that you should not keep furniture and have them getting in the way for the reason that they are expensive and are a waste to keep them in the storage. Better yet, ask yourself about the purpose of the room and be guided by that purpose according to the objects that you want placed and displayed there.
