How to Build a Shed - How to frame a shed Floor

Like in any project, building a shed, even a small one, would require preparation, and the single most important aspect of preparation that is to have a plan, and the biggest mistake one can do is to not have one. Not having a plan or a blueprint can run you up on costs and eventually lead to many construction blunders. When you have the trusses ready, you need to mark the wall of your shed to determine where the trusses will be anchored to usually an interval of 2 feet of space is done. You can now place your trusses on the marks on each facing wall and nail them down. Make sure that they are sturdy and not wiggling around. If that s the case then you definitely need a shed, especially if your garage has been regarded as an abyss of clutter and declared a danger zone. Don t feel ashamed, there are tons of people who have been known as hoarders, keeping things they don t really need. But, aside from selling the things that you can part with, you can just build a storage shed for those mementos or tools you can t really part with. This increasing need for space is not only relegated to the suburbs and for city folk, people from the countryside are also experiencing these and even though they already have farms and barns, they have machineries and equipment that need to be stored as well. These equipment can be quite large and expensive, they need a place where they can be stored so that they are not only protected from the elements, but from intruders as well. First step: Determine first how much storage space you need. Look at the stuff you need to move from your garage and determine which can be put on shelves and racks and which would require floor space. From there you will be able to have an estimate. Second step: Prepare your plans or a blueprint for the shed. Although there are some sheds that can be bought pre fabricated, sometimes they may not provide the size and shape that you require, plus, they can be a bit pricey. Building your own shed will allow you to customize its size and the storage space inside, like shelves and cabinets for optimum storage.
