Why your bedroom should be pink
by: Janice
While blue is often a preferred color in bedrooms, for couples, pink might be a wiser choice.

Blue is sedative, relaxing. Great for winding down. A tranquil color makes you want to sleep. If your bedroom is purely for sleeping, then blue would be an ideal color for the room.

Pink on the other hand is romantic. A tender color associated with romance. For a couple, that would be preferable as the bedroom is more than just for sleep. The bedroom is also a place for romance. For warmth and tenderness. For love.

If you are talking about passion, you might want to paint the room a bright passionate red.

But then again, how can you sleep in a bright red room. At the end of a hard stressful day, you just want to relax in each other's company for a time of romance and then sleep when you are really exhausted. Red might by going overboard.

A pale pink is calming. A pale pink bedroom is soothing at the end of a stressful day.

A vibrant sugar pink is cheerful. An uplifting color. One of celebration. Of fun. A perfect for a romantic setting.

For a couple that is constantly fighting, how about painting the bedroom a coral pink? Or at least furnish the room with coral pink rugs, bedding and other furnishings? Walls in prisons are painted a coral pink to effectively reduce the violence of the inmates. It might help reduce the fights in your bedroom.

Researchers suggest that pink tends to calm people and get them more soft hearted. Sounds like a recipe for romance.

So to give your relationship with your spouse a boost, why not furnish your room with pink furniture, accents or furnishings from http://www.allpink.info/Pink-Living.html.

By the way, before you do paint the room, pink, get his approval first. No point starting a fight because you painted the entire room pink even though you know he hates pink.
